Tractor Mounted Gun Rack

Bill from Tennessee

“I want to thank you for the extra quick service or my order placed on 6/28. Package arrived mid morning today!!!! Got it mounted onto my tractor tonight. No more running to the house for the shotgun to shoot another snake. Kubota should put these on as standard equipment.

This mount is awesome!

I ordered the Model 310VT. I have it mounted on a Kubota M6800 on the ROPS post. It sits to the left and just behind the range selector, nicely tucked out of the way, but easy to get to. This mount is rock solid! My farm has some pretty rough ground, and the rifle has never even offered to move in the mount. (And I have tried.) It’s super easy to place/remove the rifle with one hand! I am always seeing coyotes while out working in the fields and always thinking that if I had a way to securely hold a rifle I could kill a few. Now I don’t have an excuse.

After having scoured the internet for months looking for a way to securely mount a rifle to the tractor, I will admit I was a bit leery on buying the mount for $34.95. I was not expecting much with regards of craftsmanship and quality. Boy, was I surprised!

I can’t wait to find a place to mount another, maybe a tree stand or ground blind. I will definitely be buying another! Very well worth double or triple the money! Thanks for making a quality product at a price anyone can afford!

Bill Installed 525UF On His 2006 Club Car

Joe, Finished my 525UF gungrabber install in my 2006 club car golf cart. Turned out pretty good and I really like the product.

Did have one issue with the install, the kit was missing the 1/4” black nylon nuts. Luckily, I had a enough spares since club car uses them in a number of places and I had spares. Anyway, made a few changes.

Since the floor slopes backwards, I made a plastic ramp using a ‘post to concrete plastic base’ from Lowe’s and cutting a slope on the plastic piece. Worked very well but also needed to change the bolts to 2” and 2.5” to reach through the floor. Since I am not great with a drill, I drilled your back plate to 3/8” holes to give me slop for my work .

For stability, I found a strap a Lowe’s that I cut down, painted and then JB weld to the side of unit and bolted through the dash.

Lastly, I changed your 2” bolt for height and replaced with a tractor pin. Allows me to adjust height very quickly whether using the cart for skeet or hunting with rifles. Anyway, hope this long email gives you a few ideas or suggestions for someone else’s install. This is a great product. Well thought out and designed.
Bill

I really like the idea of the removable pin. Thanks Joe.

Bill we took your idea and put it into action. Our new 525 UF the top portion of the unit can now be removed and the mounting stud is covered with a rubber cover for protection. Thank you sir great idea. Oh we also have our 525UF in Over and Under Single or Double and our 525UF Single or Double 310VT for rifles single barrel shotguns.

Marty Installed 310VT On His 2012 E-Z-GO RXV

Joe, these are going to be great. Easy mounting, but the screws for the shoe could be 1/2” longer. I decided to rivet the top holder for a cleaner look. Can’t wait to get them on the trail. I’ll do an Amazon review as well. BTW, whoever packed the second set let the screws out of the box. No worries, I had a couple laying around that worked fine Thanks, Marty

Marty thank you for this great idea.  We are going to increase the length on the gun butt screws as you recommended.

Marty used rivets to install our 310VT on his 2012 E-Z-GO RXV. I recommended he add a square plate to give the backing more support.

Joe, here’s a metal plate added. Should increase the life span. Tried these out on Sunday. Once I got the routine so getting them in and out, it was fine Thanks, Marty

Nice job Marty thanks for the idea and your recommendations. Joe

Mounted 525UF In A Polaris Ranger 900 XP

Joe: I am sending you a couple pics of how I installed the 525 UF gungrabber.

I wanted to mount in center of my 2015 Polaris 900 ranger xp.

I added a bracket to help stabilize the gun grabber. Works great, rock solid. It also allows gun grabber height to be adjusted easily. Please let me know that pics come thru ok. Thank you best regards,

Ivan.

Ivan thank you for the great pictures and idea on the center mount stabilizer.  One question. You always use a skull to hold down your instructions. Just asking? 🙂

Joe
